Welcome, Problem Paws is owned and operated by Julie Hamblin a very experienced and highly qualified companion animal consultant behaviourist and a 1 to 1 professional dog trainer, based in Croxteth Country Park in Liverpool, Merseyside covering the North West area and across the U.K.

My training included a comprehensive certificated course in canine care and behaviour from the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training backed and moderated by Middlesex University, learning from tutors such as Colin Tennant, Joe Clarricoates and my personal tutor – Phil Watson of the Anglian Wolf Society.

I then progressed to the COAPE DipCABT Advanced Diploma course backed by the National Open College Network, trained by industry leading tutors such as Peter Neville, Val Strong and Robert Falconer-Taylor as some of the country’s leading authorities on animal behaviour and the late Professor Ray Coppinger.

The diploma course is an advanced award in the practical aspects of companion animal behaviour and training, and I passed with distinction.

As part of our code of practice I continue to train and remain up to date in all aspects of companion animal behaviour as well as regular participation in informative and educational sessions with world renowned behaviourists such as, Turid Rugaas a behaviourist & author from Norway, Sarah Fisher’s “Tellington Touch” techniques, David Ryan’s canine instinct and behaviour seminar, Nick Thompson’s holistic approach to veterinary science and many more…
